Tayler's preschool trip to the pumpkin patch

I was having a bad week trying to keep my head on straight and it didn't matter that I had 2 calendars to follow with back up reminders on my phone, I just kept forgetting things. Unfortunately the brunt of my forgetfulness fell on Tayler. She was suppose to dress up in her costume for dance and I totally spaced it. She was so down in the dumps and on the verge of huge crocodile tears seeing some of the other girls dressed up. It didn't really matter that some other mom's had forgotten as well, the majority remembered. She had also torn her costume in 5 places (cheap, worthless material), which she had reminded me several times to fix, and even though I can sew I kept putting it off because it just wasn't worth repairing. Then the next day we totally forgot about her field trip to the pumpkin patch. I didn't remember until after we had picked up Brandon from school putting us over an hour late.

We raced up to Orem and Tayler had 5 minutes to play with her friends before it was time for them to leave. We decided to make the drive worth it and went back through everything we missed on our own. Here are some of the things we saw...

London had a hard time walking through the corn maze. She kept tripping over the low cut corn stalks. Brandon was in charge of turns and we couldn't find our way out so I ended up carrying London until we took the easy way out and around the field.

Brandon was mad at me because I kept "making" him poke his head through the tallest circles. Well he is the tallest after all. Maybe I should've made him the photographer ;)

Tayler: "mom, why does this goat love me so much?"

The kids wanted to know why this one was having a bad hair day...

Tayler said, "mom, why does this rabbit have a beard?"

I'm so glad I dressed the kids appropriately for a dirty field trip :) The girls new shoes came out quite dusted over.
