A mummy pinata

The Sleight's invited us over for a fun pinata party. The kids had a great time taking turns hitting the mummy. London started out with a soft one handed hit. The kids tried to coax her to use two hands so she graduated to medium hits. Tayler and Brandon knew how to go all out and the kids had a good laugh when the mummy took the bat from Tayler and Donelle had to get it back. Brandon and Kade had some good mighty swings, I'd say they were the ones to get the crack to open up. It was fun watching them scramble for treats. Donelle also bought some yummy donuts and cookies to eat. One funny thing we've begun to notice is that the donuts and cookies were both covered in orange frosting. London wouldn't touch them because they were orange. Usually she loves cookies and donuts. She also will leave out any orange fruit snacks, m&m's, skittles, etc. I don't know what it is about orange, but she completely steers clear!
