We've known for a long time now what Brandon has wanted to be for Halloween this year...a hot dog! Don't ask me why, he doesn't even like to eat hot dogs that much. Every year I try to get him to be a ninja or some kind of super hero, but that's just not Brandon. He's silly, fun and has lots of personality. He already has the next two years of costumes planned out...snowman and then a jack o lantern.
I was a little worried he'd get made fun of this year being a hot dog but his costume got lots of rave reviews. Several bigger boys even yelled out, "HOT DOG...that's the best costume I've seen this year!
The day after Halloween I was at Walmart and they had their costumes marked down. I saw a spider-man costume for $5 so I bought it for Brandon. When I showed it to him he said, "awww mom, spider-man? You know I don't like spider-man!" And so it remains in the package.
Now here's a kid who will take any chance she can to dress up!
