We let the chickens get some fresh air in the back yard for a little while the other day. In 5 minutes each one had pooped at least twice, confirming why we don't want chickens in our backyard long term! The kids are sad that next week they will be headed to a new home, but they've loved going out into the garage and taking turns sitting with the chickens and watching them in their cage.
