Brandon and I had a long talk about keeping secrets and not telling dad what his father's day gift was. So tonight at dinner Brandon and Jason were sitting at the table and I was in changing London's diaper. Jason came in laughing and had to relay the conversation he just had with Brandon...
Brandon, "Dad, I know what you're getting for father's day."
Jason, "Oh Ya?"
Brandon, "Yep, but i'm not going to tell you or mom's going to spank my bum."
Jason, "You better not tell me then."
Brandon, "Ok, I won't tell you but it's long and skinny and you can look through it and you shoot birds with it and it's hiding under the bed."
Apparently my conversation with Brandon didn't sink in...

that's funny! it's going to be fun for brandon to look back and see all the funny things he did as a kid. way to get them recorded.
and i know, i STILL owe you a phone call. this weather has been awful for us--rob usually takes the car and leaves us home with nothing. we'll get there soon though, i promise!
How cute!! I have a similar problem with the boys, so now I don't tell them what I'm buying is for Tyson, and I hide it in the cart so they don't know either. Although they are getting a lot smarter and that makes it harder to hide stuff from them. I'm stll laughing about Brandon though!
Oh how funny! He was just giving hints. He's so cute.
