One day a couple weeks ago I looked out into our backyard and noticed a vine growing up and over our fence. Our friends next door have been growing squash on the other side of the fence and one vine decided to grow up the nearby bushes and climb down our side. I joked with our neighbors and said, "whatever squash that grows on our side is ours to keep?!" We now have one big squash growing and it's probably doubled in size since I took this picture. I can't believe it's still hanging on! The vine has also touched the ground and is now inching it's way out into the grass. I can't wait to see how far it goes.

You know, with that fruit tree growing so close to the fence, one of these years Donnelle will be able to pick herself some of that fruit right off your tree. It will be payback time.
