I never imagined that one of my girls would be such a girlie girl. Tayler is 3 1/2 and she won't go anywhere without her purse and her lip gloss. She fights me about pants and shorts, will only wear dresses, and every day her hair has to be done WITH a bow or flower to match her dress. She's always begging me to paint her fingernails and toes, anything that sparkles. Her favorite color has always been pink but lately she's been asking for a beautiful blue sparkly dress (I'm assuming she got that from Cinderella). She has lots of dresses but will only wear her two puffiest dresses to church, so we alternate every other Sunday.
The other night she was cracking me up when I put her to bed and she said very seriously, "mom, I can't go to bed until you put some lip gloss on my lips." I obliged... and here is her happy smile to prove it!

Just to let you know, mom and I are hooked on lip gloss now - we credit Tayler. :)
Its TATER!!!!!
Your kids are cute! I love the girly girl picture of Tayler getting a Pedicure. So cute! And the baby Elephant at the zoo in your other post was pretty fun to watch!
I've got one of these myself. And I'm the same as you...I never thought I'd have such a girly girl. My oldest daughter literally REFUSED to wear anything but skirts until she was about 4 1/2. It was frustrating. Now that she's 7 she's evened out to be a really good mix of girly and athletic now though. Good luck! She's so cute.
