Drying apples

We decided to try drying some apples this week. The kids were huge helpers! They loved turning the crank to peel the apples and I was impressed they could do it by themselves. Now if I could just teach them to fold their own laundry?! :)

that is one of my favorite toys (or kitchen tools, you choose)! :) . . . I love it for drying apples, but even better for apple crisp. I'll be pulling mine out soon.

Do you ever get them to put away the dishes? Daniel is getting pretty good at it and he loves doing it. Give it a try. We started with the silverware.

I would love to help too if there were cool tools involved! :) now if only there were one that could actually fold the laundry for me..... ;)
