For FHE a couple weeks ago we all went up AF canyon to cook tinfoil dinners and go fishing. Apparantly everyone else decided to have their family night up the canyon as well because we drove around for a really long time trying to find a spot. The really dumb thing is there were a million vacant camping spots with "no picnicking" signs posted everywhere. After failing to find a "picnicking spot" it finally dawned on us just to pretend we were camping and pay for a camping sight.
My camera died so I was only able to snap a few pictures of which 1/2 of them came out fuzzy :( but we had a lot of fun except for trying to keep the kids away from the river. Tyson had a drowning dream the night before so we were all really on our toes! Next time we may have to choose a better campsite far away from the water or just build a firepit in our backyard :)
