Sunbeam

Jason and I can't believe Brandon is already a Sunbeam! He has been a little resistant to wanting to go to class but so far we've been able to coax him in and after the 3rd hour he always comes out beaming and says he had fun. Fortunately or unfortunately Jason and I teach the CTR 6 class which sits right behind Brandon's class in sharing time. Brandon tries to scoot his chair as close to his dad as possible; it just cracks us up. There are only 3 boys in the class and he has the nicest teacher!

This last Sunday I went to pick him up after class and his teacher said she had a funny story for me. She had asked Brandon to say the prayer and instantly I thought, uh oh....whenever I ask Brandon to say the prayer he just tells me "No Mom, you do it!" So his teacher stands with him at the front of class and tells him what to say. She said something like, "Thank you that we could come to church today and thank you for our families." Well, I guess every time she started a sentence with thank you, Brandon would look up at her and say "your welcome". I died laughing. I didn't know if I should be embarrassed that he wasn't repeating the prayer or proud that he was being so polite in class :) Either way it made my day!

That is too funny! Kids are hilarious sometimes. :) I love all the snow pictures. We haven't gotten much this year.
