Today Brandon weighs 55 lbs and is 4 ft. 2 inches tall. We pulled out his baby book today and I showed him that when he was born he weighed 9 lbs, was 21 inches long and was born at 9:23 pm.
Brandon had a list a mile long of things he wanted to do for his birthday this year. Because of the HEAT, we managed to knock it down a few. One of Brandon's big to do's was to eat donuts, slushies, snowies and pizza. He woke us up at 6 am to open presents. We had muffins and bananas and played with the new toys. After getting cleaned up we went down to Reams for some yummy donuts. We also met up with Jason at 7 peaks and tried to stay cool in the 100+ degree weather. On our way home we stopped at Sonic for a yummy slushy. Then instead of going out to dinner Brandon just wanted to go home, play with his toys, order in pizza and eat cake. Sounds great to me!
B is such a good kid. He has the biggest heart and would never hurt anyone, (except his sisters!) He loves music and being loud. Lately he's been listening to techno music; no idea where that came from. He loves electronics and playing with his phone and the ipad. His current favorite shows are Garfield and Fairly Odd Parents. He's lost his 2 bottom teeth and the 2 top are loosening up. I can't even imagine how much he's going to change in the next year. He still hates it when I do his hair, even when I tell him it will only take 15 seconds.
Brandon's really picked up on swimming this year and whenever we go to the pool it's so hard to get him back out. He loves his family and his cousins and he's always asking who is coming to visit next!
Right now he's really into clocks and calendars and how many days is it until.... Here are a few pictures from his fun day today.
