Easter

We've had a wonderful Easter week. The kids had lots of fun with their Easter activities at school and some fun things we did at home. Here are a few pics... Decorating Easter Eggs is always a favorite and even though each year I cook more and more eggs, the kids always wish I would've made more! I think we did 5 1/2 dozen this year.
The Easter Bunny left some magic jelly beans on our door step with instructions to scatter them in the grass and see what grew overnight! The next morning they were surprised to see that Suckers grew! I love how kids minds work!
We had a fun Easter egg hunt with our neighbors. It's amazing that over 100 eggs can be found within minutes! We had a full Saturday of working in the yard and playing so as soon as we came home from the egg hunt, they passed out!
I found a cool idea on the internet to put LED lights in Easter eggs and watch them glow! We scattered them around the yard and then the kids had an Easter egg hunt in the dark. It was sooo cool!
Easter morning the kids woke up excited to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them. We had to limit the treats to 2 before church so they wouldn't be bouncing off the walls.
Annual Sunday pics before church. Thankfully Jason's early morning meetings were cancelled so we could spend a few minutes outside in the beautiful weather.
The kids were starving after church and immediately jumped into eating their candy. I was working like crazy to finish getting dinner prepared before their appetites were ruined. Ham, "Rotten" potatoes, rolls, green beans, deviled eggs, banana cream pie, and chocolate pie.
We had to go for one more egg hunt out in the backyard. They really are getting the hang of it now. So fast I barely got any pics.
