Accident Prone

London has had quite the year of accidents and several trips to the ER with some involving staples, allergic reactions, and this one with burning her hand on the stove. Thankfully every incident was relatively minor, could've been a lot worse.

She was cooking in the kitchen with me and I told her not to touch the stove because it was hot and without hesitation she reached right up and put her hand on the stove. I heard a sizzle and luckily she immediately took it off the stove and I rushed her to the sink. She cried off and on for 4 hours and was happy as long as I let her keep her hand in a bowl of cold water. She fell asleep on my lap and I would try to take her hand out of the water and she'd wake up crying again. Finally the pain subsided and she was able to sleep through the night. The next day we took her to the dr. and he gave her a cool purple bandage to wear (her favorite color). We doctored her up for about a week and she was completely back to normal.
