Jason took the kids to Bass Pro Shop in TX during Christmas and the kids were begging him to buy them fishing poles. Since we came on an airplane there wasn't a chance we were going to haul a bunch of fishing poles home so promises were made BETWEEN Jason and the kids and of course they DO NOT FORGET. A month or so later we were shopping at Walmart and they spotted the fishing poles.
There is no deterring them from the fact that there was a foot of snow in our backyard and no water in the rivers beds. They love casting their line into the snow or off the railing into the downstairs living room and reeling it back in. Good practice I guess! I'll have to post some fun video footage if I can get it off my phone.
