Today I took London in for a well baby check up and to get a hepatitis shot. The Dr. always checks her weight and height and let's me know what percentile she falls under. She is usually in the 50% for weight and 95-97% for height. I'm not that surprised because of the tall people in our family. Today the Dr. said he predicts London could reach between 6-6.2 ft. and asked how I felt about having a basketball player in the family.
On the way home I was thinking about how much fun it will be to see how tall my kids might end up and then I had this thought: It's a good thing we didn't name London...Paris, kids might nickname her "The Eiffel Tower." I've always had this weird fear of my kids acquiring crappy nicknames because of the name we had given them. Each name we considered I had given a lot of thought about how people could possible shorten or extend their name. (My fear was probably a pregnancy thing because when I think about it now, it's kind of silly).

We'll just stick with London Britches.... ;)
Wow, that's tall! I guess we'd better forget linking up one of my boys with her. I'd be surprised if they hit 5'10.
wow! I wonder how accurate doctors can predict that? And this post made me laugh. You are so cute to think about what kind of nick names your kids will get. Mine are going to be slow poke and crazy dude I am sure. :D
