London has refused to sit in her high chair for probably the last 6 months and even before then I couldn't get her to sit down while eating. So she either stands or sits right on the counter and usually ends up sitting in her food.
Little Miss Independent has decided she wants to buckle her seat on her own which usually requires us to sit for an additional 5 minutes...waiting...
She also is my biggest helper with unloading the dishwasher and changing the laundry. You can see one of my biggest problems with the dishwasher, I'm just waiting for the door to break. The other is that she's so darn fast unloading, I can't keep up with her. She says "here go" (here ya go), every time she hands me the clean dishes, but I can't get them put away fast enough so I usually end up stacking on the counter....as fast as I can.
When London learned to sit up I would put her on the counter in the bathroom while I got ready for the day. This is HER perch and no one else can sit there. She makes a mess of everything on the counter including throwing, wearing and breaking most of my makeup. Also, when we comb her hair we have to use every spray bottle on the counter before she will get down.
Lately she has been very persistent about trying to dress herself. Most of the time it ends up like this.
One of her favorite games is to play "SEE FOOD". She likes to show me whatever is in her mouth.
Even though she's ALWAYS sitting on the counters and for the last 2 months every time I tell her something she says WHY... EVERY SINGLE TIME, and I can't keep her out of the candy cupboard (which I should just move anyway, but it's finally almost gone so why?) and she picks on her siblings more than they pick on her, we love this little fireball! She gives the best hugs and kisses, she's the best snuggler and she is teaching me lots of patience which I need :) so that is why I'll just let her keep on doing the things that drive me bonkers!

She is little miss independent! But you are right, she is cute! It makes it all worth it when they smile at you doesn't it? :D
