Brandon's 5th Bday

Oma and Opa McDonald were here to celebrate Brandon's 5th bday with us. He was so excited! Leah (Jason's cousin) was also visiting from Germany (her 1st time). We started off his special day with presents and breakfast. Then we packed a picnic and headed up the canyon with Stephanie, Joshua, Chase, Holly, Oma and Opa. We ate yummy sandwiches and played in the ice cold water. The kids had a blast! Then we came back to pizza and birthday donuts (Brandon's favorite).

Brandon is such a sweet son and brother to his sister's. Although some days he feels outnumbered having to hang out with so many girls while dad is away at work, he really has a good heart and takes playing with his sister's really well. Brandon is 44 inches tall and weighs 43 lbs. with a size 13 shoe. Gma Booth thinks Brandon will be towering over his mom by age 10.






We saved Brandon's big birthday party for Saturday so that Jason could be off work to celebrate with us. Brandon invited his best friends to party with us. We had lots of fun snacks and even our awesome neighbors came to make snowies for us (another of Brandon's favorite's). They had so much fun playing in the hot weather and staying wet with water slides, pools and water balloons! Even Tyson was a real trooper and got right in and played with the kids. :) We ended up with a second round of krispy kreme donuts because my attempt at a cool pool party birthday cake collapsed, but Brandon didn't skip a beat and that's all that matters!
