apple harvest

I'm a little late on posting this but sometimes I tend to get camera happy and when I take too many pictures it's hard to sift through all of them to post. Since I'm up right now at 3 a.m. waiting for Brandon and Jason to get back from the ER, I guess I have time.

Dad called me at the beginning of October and said he missed his grandkids so much that he petitioned with nana and papa to bring us all up in their motorhome for a visit. So with 5 kids under the age of 4 and 5 adults we packed up and made the 2 day trip to WA. All in all the drive went fairly well. The weather all week was freezing so we spent most of our time inside. With the swine flu scare and so many little kids we decided not to venture out too much. I did get to go to lunch with my friends Gina and Abby and it was really good to visit with them. Grandma had lots of toys and lots of fun things to keep the kids busy and we did make it outside once a day when the kids would get restless. They had a lot of fun picking apples and were very careful about putting them in the boxes.

Fun trip - and great photos . . . but that's a nasty little teaser -- everything okay? What was going on at the ER?
